Unedited – Final Project

This is one of the unedited photos. I had to take multiple shots to align the vase and candle to make an eye/egg. Although I’m proud of the creativity in my final project, I like the detail and contrast in this photo. After looking at this original image, I may tweak this project during the break to incorporate some of this dramatic lighting.

Here is my final image. It took a lot of work… I actually captured the background for the final image yesterday, and spent a long time editing and making sure it fit into my concept. My previous backgrounds weren’t as eventful, so it helped to get something a little more interesting. I got lucky a lot with the actual images, but then edited them like crazy to get a Jumanji Movie Like feel. I am overall very happy with this image.

Final Shots Project 4

Because of the aforementioned difficulties with the tripod and shooting technicalities, I had to change the idea for my project slightly. Instead of my reflection attacking me, I wound up with my doppelganger attacking my reflection in the mirror as I/she checked the camera. I’ll have a final shot up soon (don’t have it on my school computer), but these are the two shots I used.

This project gave me a bit of trouble mostly due to a faulty tripod and not having help with positioning the camera while shooting. I’d originally intended to use the following photos to do a Silent Hill-inspired shot, made to look like my reflection had come to life and attacked me on the other side of the mirror.
